"Prepare to have your heart stolen by this beautiful pub This establishment does not only look great and inviting, but one visit will linger on in your mind. Their Tapas is a culinary delight! We enjoyed the Mushroom & Mozzarella, Falafel, Squid heads & Calamari, as well as the beef skewers Tapas, and the kitchen knows what they’re doing - These were absolutely delicious and good portioned. We also sampled their seafood platter and can highly recommend it as well. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere is joyful and light, perfect to share with friends or family, to shake off tension of a hard week. Thank you for giving us a memorable evening - Be sure that we’re going to visit again!"

"The service at this bar makes it one of my favourite Parkhurst, actually, Jozi, experiences. Nuanced, informed, friendly, smart, helpful, personal and just all together fabulous. "Best decision we made for our year-end function! We rented out The Birmingham for our company celebration and it was perfect from start to finish. The planning was so easy - the team knew exactly what they were doing and guided us through everything. They've clearly done this a million times and it shows. The venue itself is brilliant for large groups - lots of space to mingle but also different areas if you want a change of scenery or a quieter chat. They were great about letting us bring in our own décor and really helped us make the space our own. The staff worked incredibly hard on the night, helping with setup and making sure everything ran smoothly. You could tell they genuinely cared about making our event special. The food was incredible - our team kept going back for more! The cocktails were expertly crafted (the Long Islands were perfectly balanced), showing real bartending skill. It was wonderful to see the owner on-site supporting the team throughout the event. That hands-on approach speaks volumes about the venue's commitment to excellence. Even the bouncers at the door were welcoming and lovely - every single staff member contributed to the positive atmosphere. If you're looking for a venue that just gets it right, this is it. Great space, amazing food and drinks, and a team that actually cares. Can't recommend highly enough! Thank you Birmingham Boys!!"

"I have to say, I've always been a fan of an Espresso Martini and The Birningham in Parkhurst - really makes a mean one (and I've tried it all over JHB). Let the lovely staff make you one to brighten up your day or night with this one - they also have an alcohol free one that's equally delish."
